  • What six non-gem heroes are the best for raids/dungeons? 20k gems purchased and 9 months later I still don't have PD, Cupid, or Snowzilla. I can't justify buying anymore gems with that luck, but I have every F2P hero available. I'm currently using Paladin, Succubus, Druid, TG, GR, and Immortep. Every legendary hero is in the 100-120 range except Immortep (91). All skills are 4/9 except Druid with 5/9. Talents should not be considered because all of mine are low (all gems went to hero rolls). So what 6 heroes have the best synergy and why?

    • I was thinking about the same question.

The Wiki could include recommended teams without the payout only types, because that is a different kind of game.

Bought 12k so far, far too much as I discovered I prever digging, just pay is no fun.

there's no problem with your heroes regarding raids or dungeons. as far as im concern i found your heroes worth for that thing. You may want to read this : http://castle-clash.wikia.com/wiki/Strategy_Guide,  (Strategy Guide) This guide may help you though the real thing about heroes does not counts what heroes you have but what was your goals and what the strategy you've wanted. I have my heroes, TG druid, succubus, champ and engineer. all comes in level 80 yet i could raid/dungeons most of the time. Daily i do raids at least 10 times which 500k to 1 million was at stake on the golds and mana. Im using a level 3 centaur and 3 magic spells. Im not boasting either though what im trying for you to understand is consider your heroes and let them grow as you understand your fight.

    • Back when I had those level ranges it was different too. I could raid someone with a good strategy and walk away with those results too. Now I'm in ranks where that's just not happening anymore. I see lv 120-160 heroes of the 5 paid-for variant.and struggle to get 20%. I even had my base destroyed by a 5/5 revitalize team of atk buffs abilities and spells for atk buff too. They just dropped a minotaur chieftain, buffed, and first proc destroyed everything. It's not like i don't support the game, but it's not competitive at my rank anymore unless you drop the $800-$900. Or at least from what I notice. Not really complaining, i still like the challenge. I just don't know what's the best way to go about it because I can't keep dropping my shield to try a new strategy, have my base wiped during recovery and lose 25% resources just to repeat. Back on topic, I'm thinking maybe pick up atlanticore in place of paladin to tank the heroes and towers and pick up succubus for ninja and drop him into battle more intelligently so he isn't focused. Does that seem pretty sound?

    • Correction on my last post. Pick up ninja in place of succubus.

    • I keep rolling as soon as I get 450 and got SZ and Cupid. Got SZ before I purchased any gems.

It's just a matter of time (patience).

So in fact I would not classify gem only heroes as pay out types. The seazonal heroes are good, but design is a bit off to may taste, specially SZ and PD, ugh!

True pay out heroes are the Minotaur and SM. Great if you get them, but the game should still be on without those. I will not get to 1st place in the rank, so what?

    • I agree they aren't necessarily paid for, but it's semantics. You use a premium resource that is acquired through actually paying for it. Yes, you can get free gems from daily stuff, but that's only for the lucky. After posting this thread, I actually got a Cupid a little later, so I agree once again, patience is necessary. But most people aren't nearly-a-year patient, and I think it's vital for a community to offer info and support for those that are new, unlucky, and maybe not financial capable of dropping nearly a grand (or sometimes even $20, times are tough) for certain heroes.

    • My heroes are not that high but I foresaw something like this and created another account just for raiding, I even rolled a Pumpkin Duke on it.

My advice is to have a second account for raiding. Then raid yourself. Now you can search the ranks even though I have had trouble searching it effectively.

Congrats on the Cupid, I think its a better support hero than Pumpkin Duke, since it adds energy and flies cos most bases I face have ground heroes .

I dont have that high level heroes as I already stated but Champ would do very well on your team, especially since you have GR and Tg to get rid of troops. Ninja can clean up shop when your enemy heroes are stunned. I agree that Atlanticore will be great to have, kinda proofs that Paladin isnt so good for end game. His cooldown is the only downside

You could try raiding without a tank and using druid instead. Maybe deploy in the order

Druid, GR then Thunder god, Immortep, Champ and Ninja

    • i have also considered this to making a "smurf account" as they call it i dont know why im new to this game also so im starting to learn the terminology. Timbone has great insight and that strategy  may work some people use Druid as a tank anyways. If the above team ( Druid, GR, TG, Immortep, Champ and Ninja) does not work you can try replacing Ninja with Cupid as Supporter for buffs to proc faster and damage booster. With a lvl 5 Ares Fevor and a well placed lvl 5 Ares Frenzy im sure you can cause all kinds of havoc.

I also am having trouble with some bases but i just pick and choose my fights so i can get those daily rewards everyday. Im thinking about lowering my Might so i will have a easier time but i can only drop my might so much, but ether way it shouldnt be to hard to claim all the daily rewards especially if you did have a "smurf account". i do it the long way currently even if i collect only 50k a raid slowly but surely i get enough to claim them everyday you get 20 and from the first slime until the day you claim druid you get 990+900 = 1890 gems if you do the daily raids and if you just collect the log in and fight in arena reward then it drops down to  1290 but thats still not including your daily might bonus. If you have the patience save up and hope to get lucky thats what im doing until i get all the heros i need then ill just waste them on talent rolls good luck to all you guys

    • I started playing this game early summer 2013. I quickly built myself into a wall where I was raiding enemies way stronger than me and I quit playing. I recently loaded the game, on a whim, and was shocked to find almost 400k HB and over 9k crystals. Maybe if your feeling burnt out you should quit for a year >.<

    • By hearing all you people thought, I think this game is becoming very complex to play..hmm...lets see what can i really do about it

    • The best way to wipe any ones city is simple. 1 way is to place gurdian on the floor near as possible to all of their resources summon in heroes and troops i mainly prefer to use griffins. then use ares / fervor and ares frenzy. some times people leave a little hole in thier base not on purpose but still exploit it works well for heroes even 20 - 40 lvls above you. there is a downfall to this if there city is covered with buildings around it your troops and hero will target them the way around this which is option 2. to summon a range hero. e.g druid engieneer archer. to take out a few of the buildings so that once you summon the rest they will pile in the center normally where the gold and mana vaults are protected just pactice it. i use ( Druid, Altlacore, ThunderGod, SnowZilla, With immortep that i just got but before i got that i was using my lvl 100 engineer. hope this helps.

    • Sounds like your might is to high do you have any extra heroes you could delete?

        Loading editor
    • I'm 100% free-to-play too. For raids I use only heroes - 161 atlanticore, 157 Druid, 154 Pumpkin Duke and 150 Thunder God. I alternate secondary heroes (around level 140) like Immortep, Grizzly Reaper, Aries, and Eros. Might is around 22k which I guess is low cuz every base is pretty much cake. I get maybe 2-4m mana per day from raids... dunno if that's low, high, or somewhere in between.

Raids take 20-30 sec usually (for 100%), with max time being under 1 minute.
